How to delete your DWIRAT account

How to delete your DWIRAT account: it is deactivated for 30 days, you can get it back by signing in again, and then it is deleted for good.

Open DWIRAT and delete my account

Delete it yourself, from the app

We send you an e-mail with the date of the final deletion. If the code does not arrive, check your spam folder.

If you change your mind: 30 days to get it back

The account is not deleted the same day: it is deactivated and waits for 30 days.

After the deadline nothing can be recovered.

If you can no longer sign in

You do not need to install the app again. Write to support@dwirat.com from the same address you signed up with, with "Delete my account" as the subject. We reply to confirm the request is yours and deactivate the account: your listings stop showing that same day and the final deletion comes 30 days later, exactly as if you had done it in the app. If you change your mind within that window, sign in again or tell us.

What gets deleted

Once the 30 days are up, this is deleted with no way back:

That deletion is final: neither you nor we can recover the account or anything inside it.

What we keep, and why

For bookings that have already finished we keep the record for 5 years: the reference, the check-in and check-out dates, which listing was booked, the name and phone you gave when booking, how many of you there were, and the breakdown of the amount.

We keep it because a booking is a commercial transaction between two people: the law requires us to be able to account for it, and it is the only evidence we have to handle a later complaint.

That record is detached from your account: it can no longer be signed in to, it appears in no profile and no search, and after 5 years it deletes itself.

If you have a booking under way or money to be paid

The account cannot be deleted while you have a pending or confirmed booking whose check-out date has not arrived — as a guest or as a host — or while you are still owed money: there is a person on the other side with a trip or a home committed, and a pending payout is your money.

If that turns up during the 30-day wait, deletion is postponed: the account stays deactivated and is deleted as soon as nothing is left pending.

You can cancel the booking, wait for it to end, or write to support from the deletion screen itself. If you can no longer sign in, write to support@dwirat.com.

How long it takes

From the app, the account is deactivated as soon as you confirm the code: your listings stop showing that same day. The final deletion happens from day 30 onwards; an automatic process runs once a day, so it may land a few hours after the date we gave you. If you ask us by e-mail, the deadline is the same. Backups are clean 30 days after the deletion.
