Privacy Policy

Data we collect

• Account details: name, email, phone number and, if you sign up, your password (stored encrypted).
• Listing content: the descriptions, prices, photos, address and location of the properties you publish.
• Contact details you share to be reached about a listing or a booking.
• Chat voice notes: if you record one, we use your device's microphone while you record it, and the audio is uploaded and stored alongside the rest of the conversation. If you don't grant microphone permission, nothing is recorded.
• Technical data: device type, language and basic usage needed to run the app.

How we use your data

We use your data to show your listings to interested users, let renters and owners contact each other, process bookings and payments, keep the service secure, and improve the app. We never sell your personal data. Notices about a booking you have already made — arrival time, house rules and departure time — are always sent, even with notifications switched off: they are part of the service you booked, not marketing.

Sharing information

Your listing information and the contact details you choose to publish are visible to other users so they can reach you. We may share data with real-estate agencies you deal with, and with payment providers to process transactions. We may also disclose data if required by law.

Listings and contact

When you publish a listing, its content and the contact method you enable (phone, WhatsApp or in-app chat) become visible to other users. Do not include information you don't want to be public. You can hide or delete your listings at any time.

Location

With your permission, we use your device location to show nearby listings and to place the pin when you publish. You can deny or revoke this permission in your device settings; the app still works without it.

Storage and cookies

The app stores data on your device (preferences, favourites, session) so it can work and remember your choices. On the web it uses the browser’s local storage. No advertising trackers are used. We use Google Analytics to measure usage in aggregate (screens opened, searches, contacts) so we can improve DWIRAT: on the website only after you accept the notice, and you can refuse without losing anything; in the mobile app measurement starts with the app. It never includes your name, your phone number, your email or the address of your listings, and listing identifiers are removed before anything is sent.

Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your personal data and your account at any time. To delete your account, go to Help → "Delete my account": we send a code to your account e-mail and, once you confirm it, the account is deactivated — your listings stop showing that same day — and waits for 30 days. During that time you can get it back by signing in again, with everything as it was; from day 30 it is deleted for good and cannot be recovered. If you can no longer sign in, ask at support@dwirat.com from the address you signed up with and we follow the same process. The final deletion removes your profile and everything tied to it — listings, conversations, favourites, saved searches, alerts, support threads, reports and the files you uploaded — except the record of bookings that have already finished: we keep the reference, the dates, the listing booked, the name and phone you gave when booking and the breakdown of the amount for 5 years, because the law requires us to account for every transaction and to handle complaints; that record is detached from your account and deletes itself when the time is up. While you have a pending or confirmed booking that has not finished, or a pending payout, the account is not deleted: cancel it, wait for it to end, or write to us.
